Whilst this technique obviously has the potential for abuse, it’s really nothing that couldn’t be done by a skilled Photoshop operator in a few minutes, so it actually seems like it would be a useful and fun addition to image editing software. I’m not sure about it for use in a browser tho… Surely dynamic cropping or resizing would be more appropriate to ensure the preservation of the original meaning of image?
UPDATE: Looks like Adobe haven’t missed the trick!

Wow…that is all I have to say about this video. Actually there are some online tools that already use smart image processing techniques. I’ve recently found a great tool al reshade.com. The interface for this tool is highly intuitive and easy to use, so I’m afraid I have to disagree with your Photoshop remark. This tool offers better results and with less effort. I don’t understand why Photoshop remains the standard in picture processing.
